My Story
All glory & praise to our King of Kings Yahusha Hamashiach Jesus Christ our one and only savior.
While growing up in CT Forest was blessed with a backyard of never-ending lush forests, raspberry bushes, and a secret garden way down the path. Through her photographic work Forest continues to honor the grandeur of nature by bringing the outside in with large format, frameless prints that give the illusion of floating in place, beckoning the viewer to enter.
Forest began modeling when she was 10 years old, in her 20s she worked as Paloma Picasso’s personal model, accompanying her during tours.
Drawn to the East End of Long Island for its creative spirit as an artists’ colony, Forest soon found herself learning the techniques of photo collage by renowned photographer Peter Beard’s side, on the living room floor at his home in Montauk. Forest’s photo collages tell a story with whimsical relics, enhanced with bright colored ink, and painterly techniques that give a deeper perspective to the subject.
"Im not so careful when creating rawness & accidents almost always turn out to be the best part"
